Lane Allocation and Game System
Every day (from Wednesday to Saturday) qualification squads are organized. In each squad, between 1 and 12 players will play, depending on registration. In case of oversubscription, the organizer may decide to increase the number of players participating in a squad, but by no more than 6 additional players per squad. They will always try to assign an equal number of players to each lane.
Entries: 4 games per squad
Re-entries: 4 games per squad
Players will play 1 or 2 per lane, in the European system; all 4 qualification games must be played on the same lane where they started, with no lane changes between games.
Lane assignment will be done by drawing lots. The lane draw will be carried out by the organizers in the presence of the players.
For warm-up, 5 minutes per player per lane will be allocated. Games may begin only at the instruction of the tournament officials.
Scores are recorded per game. The four games together form a squad.
The result of the player’s best squad will represent their qualification score, which will be taken into account when determining the finalists.
Players may re-enter as many squads as they wish, as long as time allows.
Only one initial entry is permitted, and an unlimited number of re-entries.
Qualification for the Final
In the event of a tie in the qualification ranking (total pins), the following tiebreak rule will apply:
The total number of pins knocked down in the last game of the squad with which the players qualified will be compared. The player with the higher last game score will be ranked higher.
If the tie persists, the second-to-last game will be compared, and so on, until a difference is found.
